The Life Aquatic: bad cameraman

I've noticed several indoor shots from Wes Anderson's film seem tilted or slanted, not entirely level. I'm not sure anyone else has noticed this,  but it's a bit unsettling once you've noticed it because you can't stop seeing it everywhere. Is it the camera operator's fault?
